Refund & Cancellation Policy

Chagible Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides Chagible, the AI platform these plans give you access to. This policy sets out how refunds work for Chagible’s paid plans (Plus, Pro and Ultra): when a refund applies, how it’s calculated, and what counts as misuse of the payment and refund system. It applies the same way to every customer, wherever you are, except where this policy specifically calls out an exemption for your situation. Rules about your account and its data after cancellation are set out separately in our Terms of Service. By entering your payment information with us, you authorize Chagible Labs to charge your payment method on an ongoing basis for as long as you’re subscribed to any paid plan. This doesn’t apply while you’re on the free Basic Plan, or under any promotional access that doesn’t charge you.

A. How Refunds Work

1. From your very first payment on any paid plan, you have 7 days to request a refund for the unused portion of that period, no reason needed.
2. If your billing country is in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere in Europe (other than Russia or Belarus, where we don’t operate), we extend this window to 14 days instead of 7, as a courtesy, under the same terms in this section.
3. This window is based on your very first payment only. It doesn’t reset with each month’s renewal, and it doesn’t reopen if you change plans, cancel your paid plan, or start a new one.
4. At checkout, you’ll confirm you want access to start right away. That confirmation is what lets us calculate your refund as pro-rated for unused time, rather than the full amount.
5. For a prorated refund, we count the unused portion from the day you last used Chagible’s paid tools or features, not the day you submit your refund request. If you keep using paid tools and features after asking for a refund, those days count as used, based on our records, and are deducted from the final refund amount.
6. Once your refund window has passed, cancelling your paid plan for a change of mind or unused credits no longer qualifies for a refund, and this applies to every renewal payment afterward too.
7. If your paid plan access came from a promotion, referral code, free trial or other promo offer at no cost to you, there’s nothing to refund.
8. If you paid a discounted price (for example with a promo code), only the amount you actually paid is refundable, and only for the unused portion, prorated from the day that plan was activated.
9. All payments and refunds are in USD. Any fees your card issuer or payment processor charges on the transaction aren’t covered by Chagible and are your responsibility.
10. Listed prices don’t include any taxes that apply to you, unless we say otherwise. You’re responsible for those taxes, and we may collect them at checkout or bill them to you separately based on the billing address on your account, so please keep it up to date. If a refund is approved, any tax we collected on the refunded amount is refunded along with it.

B. Service Continuation

1. Billing errors and duplicate charges are always corrected in full.
2. If Chagible is significantly different from how we describe it, or is unavailable during a prolonged outage, we’ll make it right, such as a fix or credited time, at our discretion. This is separate from, and doesn’t extend, the refund window above.
3. Basic is a free plan, so there’s nothing to refund on it.
4. Switching plans: moving to a higher-cost plan takes effect immediately and charges you in full. You can contact our Support Team for a prorated refund on the unused portion of your old lower-cost plan. For any plan switching issues, you must contact our Support Team for assistance.
5. We’ll email your account’s registered email address at least one week before your plan renews, so you have time to cancel or make changes if you want to.
6. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge for as long as your subscription remains active.

C. Fair Use

1. We may suspend or deny service to accounts that abuse the payment or refund system, for example repeated cycles of subscribing, using the service, and requesting a refund; disputing legitimate charges without contacting us first; or other patterns that amount to gaming the system.
2. This is aimed at abuse patterns, not at a single good-faith refund request made within the refund window above.
3. Each person is entitled to one refund under this policy, ever, for cancelling a paid plan as described under Section A. This doesn’t include the prorated refund for switching to a higher-cost plan, described under Service Issues. Creating or keeping a Chagible account means entering one ongoing relationship with us, for as long as you keep any account with us active, so this limit applies to you as a person across every account you have, not just the one you opened it on. If you create another account and request a second refund, we identify this by the name on your payment method, and that second request is forfeited as gaming the system.
4. We also reserve the right to cancel a subscription where we find a user gaming the system, and to hold or deny a refund where we’ve determined, with concrete evidence, that the activity caused us losses or was unfair to our business.
5. We have full discretion to deactivate, delete or suspend an account entirely where we determine activity that’s malicious or otherwise harmful to our systems or other users.
6. If you create a new account after we’ve suspended or banned one under this policy, we may suspend the new account as well, and we reserve the right to pursue recovery of any resulting business losses by any means available to us, including legal action.
7. Chagible is intended for users 18 and older. If we determine an account belongs to someone under 18, we’ll terminate it immediately, regardless of the reason, and refund the current month’s payment to the original payment method used, even if your refund window under Section A has already passed by the time we discover this. This refund is limited to the current month’s payment only; it doesn’t cover any earlier renewal payments.

D. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

1. Clicking the Cancel Paid Plan button cancels your paid plan, not your Chagible account. Your cancellation request is immediately registered in our system, and your current paid plan will remain active for the remainder of its 30-day billing cycle. After that, your account will automatically switch to the free Basic Plan, with no further charges. Selecting a different, lower-cost plan that’s still paid works the same way: it prompts you to contact our Support Team instead of switching you immediately. If you’d rather not wait out the current cycle, contact our Support Team: within your refund window (see Section A), they can refund the unused portion of your current plan and move your account to Basic right away; past that window, they can still move you to Basic right away, just without a refund. Support can’t place you directly into a different paid plan on your behalf. Once you’re on Basic, you choose and pay for whichever plan you want yourself.
2. To request a refund under any of the rights above, contact our Support Team from your account’s registered email address with the reason for your request. We only act on requests sent from that email, and aim to respond within 24 to 72 hours.
3. For unusual cases this policy doesn’t clearly cover, you agree to let our Support Team investigate, and a decision may take up to 30 days.
4. While a decision is pending, the same rule applies: your prorated refund is counted from the day you stop using Chagible’s paid tools and features, not from the day you raised the dispute. Continuing to use them while you wait reduces the refund by the days used.
5. By agreeing to this policy, you trust that our Support Team investigates every refund request or dispute fairly and properly, and you accept their decision as final, unless you present substantial evidence that contradicts that decision, or that reveals a factual error on our part, in which case we’ll revisit and resolve the case.
6. Once a refund is approved, your account is converted to the free Basic Plan right away, since the refund already covers the time you’re no longer paying for. If the refund followed activity we found harmful or malicious as described under Fair Use, we may suspend or ban the account instead of converting it to Basic.
7. If a refund is denied, whether because you’re past your refund window or for any other reason, your account isn’t moved to Basic right away. Since no refund happened, the remaining days on your current paid plan still run their course, and your account moves to Basic automatically once that cycle ends.
8. Refunds, once approved, can take 7 to 30 days or more to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing and clearance time.
9. If we suspect a refund request involves a hacked or compromised account, we may ask for identity verification, such as a valid ID. Anything you provide is used only to verify that request and is handled under our Privacy Policy.
10. We refund payments to the original payment method used.
11. Your subscription is tied to your account and can’t be transferred to another person or account.

E. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If something’s wrong with a charge, please contact us first. Most billing issues get fixed faster directly with us than through a card-issuer dispute, and a chargeback can pause your account while it’s investigated.

F. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our plans or the law change. The version published on this page at the time of your renewal or cancellation request is the one that applies. Where the law that applies to you gives you a right beyond what’s written here, that right isn’t affected by anything in this policy.
