What It Is

Account Closure permanently deletes your Chagible account and the data connected to it. It is intended for users who no longer wish to use Chagible. To clear conversations while keeping the account, use Delete All Conversations instead. See Delete Data.

Before You Begin

  • Export any Task Tabs that must be kept, and download the images, spreadsheets, slides and Local Finder lists that are still needed. See Export.
  • If the account is on a paid plan (Plus, Pro or Ultra), the plan must be ended first. Account deletion is blocked while a subscription is active. Contact the Support Team through Get Help.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open User Account.
  2. Scroll to the Account Deletion card, which states: “This action cannot be undone.”
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Read the prompt, Delete Account?, which states that the account and all associated data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  5. Select Yes, Delete Account to confirm, or Cancel to stop.
  6. You are signed out and returned to the sign-in page.

Accounts on a Paid Plan

If Yes, Delete Account is selected on a paid plan, a message titled Cannot Delete Account appears. It explains that an account with an active subscription cannot be deleted and asks you to contact support or wait until the subscription expires. Select OK, and then contact the Support Team through Get Help to have the plan ended.

Good to Know

  • Deletion is permanent. Conversations, folders, Local Finder data and account details cannot be restored.
  • If you sign in again later with the same email address, a new account is created, with no earlier conversations or settings.
  • The decision can be reversed at any point before confirmation. Closing the prompt or selecting Cancel leaves the account unchanged.

If a return is possible, consider clearing conversations instead of closing the account. The sign-in is retained, which makes it straightforward to resume later.
