Folders
Group related Task Tabs into folders to keep projects structured.
What It Is
Folders group related Task Tabs, for example one folder per client, campaign or product. Folders appear in a dedicated Folders section of the sidebar, above Pinned and Recent. A Task Tab stored in a folder is listed there instead of in the Recent list.
How to Use It
Create a Folder
- Select the three dots beside a Task Tab that contains at least one message.
- Choose Move, then New Folder.
- Enter the folder name when prompted and confirm.
The folder is created and the Task Tab is moved into it. Up to 30 folders can be created, and a folder name can contain up to 60 characters.
Move a Task Tab Into a Folder
- Open the three-dot menu of the Task Tab and choose Move.
- Select a folder from the list. To remove a Task Tab from its folder, select Home.
- Select Back to return to the previous menu without moving anything.
Open a Folder
Select a folder in the sidebar to display the Task Tabs it contains. The folder name appears at the top of the list with a back arrow. Select it to return to the main list.
Rename or Delete a Folder
- Select the three dots beside the folder.
- Choose Rename to edit the name, or Delete Folder to remove it.
- When deleting, confirm the prompt. The Task Tabs inside the folder are not deleted. They return to the Recent list.
Good to Know
- Pinning and folders are independent. Pins provide quick access, and folders provide structure.
- Folders are tied to the account and appear on your other devices.
- Search covers every Task Tab, including those stored in folders.
Create a folder as soon as a project accumulates more than two or three conversations. Organization is considerably easier while the list is short.
