The Website Speed Tester measures how quickly a web page loads and how well it is configured, for both mobile and desktop visitors. The results appear as a card in the chat, and Chagible then explains them in plain language: what the figures mean, which problems are most significant and what to correct first.
How to Use It
- Request a speed test and name the website, for example “Test the speed of example.com.”
- If no website has been mentioned, Chagible asks for one. If a test was proposed earlier in the conversation, a short “yes” or “go” is sufficient.
- The results card appears. Use the Mobile and Desktop tabs at the top, or the View Desktop Score and View Mobile Score button at the bottom, to switch views.
- Select Get fix suggestions to request the top improvements, or ask a follow-up question.
Reading the Results Card
- Performance and Accessibility are scored from 0 to 100 in rings at the top.
- Speed lists Time to First Byte, Total Load Time, DNS Lookup Time, TCP Connect Time, SSL Handshake Time and Redirect Count.
- Images shows the number of images tested, the average image load time, the total image weight, cache headers and an overall image rating.
- Security checks for a valid SSL certificate, HTTPS, HSTS, security headers and a Content Security Policy, with an overall security rating.
Colored dots and bars indicate at a glance what is good (green), what could be improved (orange) and what requires attention (red).
Sample Prompts
- “Run a website speed test on mybakery.com.”
- “Why is the load time slow on mobile?”
- “Compare the mobile and desktop scores and identify what to fix first.”
- “Test mybakery.com again.”
Good to Know
- Follow-up questions about the results, such as “What is TTFB?” or “How is speed calculated?”, are answered from the data already in the conversation without running a new test.
- Request a fresh result explicitly, for example “run it again.”
- A test starts only when the message is clearly about the speed or performance of a website. “Speed test of a Ferrari” is understood as a question about a car.
- For search visibility and reputation, use the SEO Tool. The card also offers a shortcut to check SEO scores for the same domain.
- The tool cannot run inside Focus Sheet. Exit first.
- A test consumes more credits than a standard message.
Test the pages that matter most to visitors, such as a landing page or a product page, rather than the home page alone. A slow page that visitors actually reach costs more than a slow page that few people visit.
