Focus Sheet is a full-screen spreadsheet editor built into Chagible. It opens from any spreadsheet in the chat and allows the sheet to be edited in real time, either by instructing Chagible or by editing cells directly. Focus Sheet is available on a computer only, not on phones or tablets.
How to Obtain a Spreadsheet
- Request one, for example “Create a monthly budget spreadsheet for a small bakery.”
- Upload one by attaching an Excel, CSV or similar file with the paperclip button. A single uploaded spreadsheet is rebuilt as a table in the chat.
Every table is displayed with a bar beneath it showing Download CSV, Download XLSX, the number of rows and columns, and the Focus Sheet button.
How to Use It
- Select the Focus Sheet button beneath the spreadsheet. The sheet opens full screen.
- Enter the instruction in the box labeled Tell Chagible what to do..., for example “Add a Total column that sums columns B to D,” and send. The sheet is updated directly, and a short note states what changed.
- To edit manually, double-click a cell, type, and press Enter. The arrow keys move between cells.
- Right-click a row or column for additional options: Copy, Paste, Insert row above, Insert row below, Delete this row, Insert column left, Insert column right and Delete this column. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V (Cmd on a Mac) also copy and paste cells.
- If the sheet has several tabs, switch between them along the tab strip. Chagible can also create, rename or delete tabs on request.
- To reverse a change, select Undo last edit above the message box.
- When finished, select Exit Focus Sheet.
Sample Prompts
- “Sort this table by revenue, highest first.”
- “Add a new tab named Q2 with the same columns.”
- “Increase every price in column C by 10% for tax.”
- “Delete the rows where Status is Cancelled.”
Good to Know
- Inside Focus Sheet, the chat is used only for editing the spreadsheet. Image creation, file uploads, video and image search, SEO reports and speed tests require exiting Focus Sheet first.
- Opening Focus Sheet ends a Voice Mode session.
- The undo history is retained, so recent edits can still be reversed after leaving and returning.
- The header row cannot be deleted, and a row cannot be inserted above it.
Refer to columns and rows explicitly, for example “column D” or “rows 3 to 8.” Precise instructions produce precise edits, and Undo is always available.
