Permanently remove a Task Tab, folder, Local Finder list or all conversations.

What It Is

You control the data you create in Chagible. A single conversation, a folder, the Local Finder list or all conversations can be removed. Deletions are permanent, so Chagible requests confirmation before removing anything that cannot be restored.

Delete One Task Tab

  1. Select the three dots beside the Task Tab in the sidebar.
  2. Choose Delete.
  3. Read the prompt, Delete this Task Tab?, which states that the deletion is permanent. Select Proceed to confirm or Cancel to keep the Task Tab.

Delete a Folder

  1. Select the three dots beside the folder and choose Delete Folder.
  2. Confirm the prompt. Only the folder is removed. The Task Tabs inside it are retained and return to the Recent list.

Delete the Local Finder List

  1. Open Local Finder from the sidebar.
  2. Select the bin button, Delete All Data.
  3. Select Proceed in the confirmation, Delete All Data?. All results tabs and the Local Finder chat are removed.

Erase Business Information

In Business Profile, the Remove Business button erases the business name and all other business details after confirmation. See Business Profile.

Delete All Conversations

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open User Account.
  2. Scroll to the Delete All Conversations card and select Delete Data.
  3. In the confirmation, Delete All Conversations?, read the warning and select Proceed.

This permanently removes all Task Tabs and their messages, all folders and the Local Finder list. The application then reloads with a new, empty workspace.

What Remains

Deleting conversations does not close the account. The sign-in, the plan, the User Account details and the Business Profile remain unchanged. To leave Chagible entirely, see Account Closure.

Good to Know

  • Deleted data cannot be recovered, either by you or by Chagible.
  • If Chagible is open on several devices, the deletion appears on the other devices shortly afterward, once they are not busy with a response, a voice session or Focus Sheet.
  • Credits that were already used are not returned when conversations are deleted.

If there is any doubt, export first. A Markdown file of the conversation takes seconds to save and preserves a record after the original is gone.
