Introduction

Custom Skills are agentic AI built around a single company. Instead of answering one question at a time, an agent is given a goal and carries out the work behind it, following the steps and rules that the company has set.

Custom Skills are not listed here, because each one is designed for the company that uses it. This page explains what an agentic AI can do for a business, especially in marketing, and gives case samples to show the idea. Custom Skills are delivered through Enterprise Solutions and are set up by our technical team.

What agentic AI is

A standard AI chat answers a request and then waits for the next one. An agentic AI works toward a goal. It breaks the goal into steps, gathers the information it needs, uses the tools it is connected to, produces the result, and reports back. A person stays in charge of the goal, the rules, and the final decision.

What the agent does

For a business, and especially for a marketing team, an agent can take on the repeated work that surrounds the creative and strategic decisions:

  • Research. Collect information on markets, competitors, audiences, and prospects, and organize it into a clear summary.
  • Plan. Turn a goal into a schedule, a campaign outline, or a list of priorities.
  • Create. Draft articles, emails, ads, social posts, and product descriptions in the company’s voice.
  • Check. Compare the work against brand rules, style guides, and requirements before anyone sees it.
  • Report. Turn figures from several sources into a plain-language summary of what changed and what to do next.
  • Deliver. Place the finished work in the tools the team already uses, ready for review.
  • Monitor. Repeat a task on a schedule and flag what needs attention.

Workflows

A workflow is the sequence of steps that an agent follows. A company’s recurring work, such as a weekly report or a content calendar, usually has the same shape every time, so it can be written down once and run again whenever it is needed. A typical workflow looks like this:

  1. Start. The workflow begins on a schedule, when a new item arrives, or when a team member asks for it.
  2. Gather. The agent collects the information and files it needs.
  3. Do the work. The agent researches, drafts, analyzes, or compares.
  4. Review. A person checks the result and approves it, or asks for changes.
  5. Deliver. The approved work is sent to the right place or person.

Case samples

The samples below illustrate what a Custom Skill can look like. They are not ready-made products, and each real skill is designed around the needs of the company.

Weekly performance report

A marketing team spends the start of every week collecting figures from several reports. An agent gathers the figures from the connected sources, writes a plain-language summary of what changed and why it may matter, suggests next steps, and sends the draft to the team for review.

Content production for an agency

An agency manages the content of several clients, each with its own voice and calendar. An agent drafts posts, emails, and captions for each client, checks them against that client’s brand rules, and passes the drafts to the account manager for approval.

Lead research with outreach drafts

A sales and marketing team wants to reach companies that match a target profile. An agent researches each company, summarizes what it does, and drafts a personal first message. A person reviews every draft before anything is sent.

Competitor watch

A business wants to keep track of what its competitors are doing. An agent checks their public websites and announcements on a schedule, summarizes what has changed, such as new offers or campaigns, and highlights what may need a response.

Product content refresh

An online store has a large catalog with inconsistent descriptions. An agent rewrites the descriptions to the store’s style guide, prepares search titles and summaries, and delivers them in batches for review before they are published.

Configuration

A Custom Skill is configured for the company so that the agent works the way the company works. Configuration covers:

  • Brand voice and rules. The tone, the vocabulary, and the requirements the agent must follow.
  • Tools and information. The systems and files the agent can use to do its work.
  • Scope. What the agent may do on its own and what needs a person’s approval first.
  • Timing. Whether the workflow runs on a schedule or on request.
  • Review. Who checks the result and where the finished work is delivered.

How it is arranged

  1. Contact the Client Relations team through the Support page and mention Custom Skills.
  2. Describe the work you would like an agent to take on, and how it is done today.
  3. Work with our technical team, who design the workflow with you and configure the agent.
  4. Start using the skill with your team. Later adjustments are handled with the technical team.

Good to know

  • Custom Skills are arranged with our team. They are not a setting in the workspace.
  • The case samples are illustrations. What is possible for a company is confirmed during setup.
  • Responses are generated by AI. Verify important facts, figures, and claims before they are published or acted on, and keep a person in the review step.

Choose a task that repeats, follows clear steps, and ends in something a person can check, such as a weekly report. A task like that is the easiest place to see what an agent can do.
