Web Search lets Chagible answer with current information instead of relying only on general knowledge. When a question depends on facts that change, such as news, prices, platform updates, competitor activity, or recent statistics, Chagible researches the web and builds its answer from what it finds. The response can include clickable links and relevant images.
Web Search needs no button, setting, or special command. It runs automatically within the conversation, and it is available on every plan.
How it works
- Enter a question in the message box, in your own words.
- Wait while Chagible researches. When the question requires current information, a spinner labeled Researching... replaces the usual typing indicator.
- Read the answer in the chat. Links are clickable and open in a new browser tab, so the conversation stays open.
- Look beneath the text for images. If relevant images were found, they appear beneath the complete text of the response and not within it.
- Continue in the same Task Tab. Follow-up questions build on the research already in the conversation, for example “Summarize that in three bullet points” or “Compare the two options.”
When Chagible searches
Chagible searches only when the question requires it. Typical triggers include:
- News and recent developments, for example a change to an advertising platform
- Prices, availability, and current offers
- Current guidance, benchmarks, and statistics that may have changed
- Information about a specific company, product, or website
Questions that rely on established knowledge, such as how to structure an email sequence, are answered directly without a search. To make your intention clear, include a phrase such as “search the web for” or “find the latest” in your request.
Links and images
- Links. Links in a response are clickable and open in a new tab. Chagible reads a linked page only when your request requires it.
- Images. Images found during research appear below the response text. They are shown for reference, do not open in an enlarged view, and have no download button. An image that cannot be loaded is omitted without leaving a gap or an error icon.
To find a specific photograph, see Image Search. To find a video, see Video Search.
Web Search by voice
Web Search also works in Voice Mode. Chagible researches the question, describes the result aloud, and places anything that must be seen, such as a link, in the chat.
Sample prompts
- “What changed in the most recent update to Instagram’s advertising tools?”
- “Find current guidance on how often a business should post on LinkedIn.”
- “Search the web for the average cost of a small-business website in my country and summarize the range.”
- “Summarize recent news about our main competitor and explain what it means for our pricing.”
- “Compare the current prices of the leading email marketing platforms.”
Good to know
- Responses are generated by AI. Verify important facts, figures, and claims, particularly prices and legal or financial details, against the original source before you act on them.
- Like every request, a search uses credits from your daily allowance. See Plans and Credits.
- Web Search covers the public internet. It does not search your own conversations. For that, use Search.
- The best way to find local businesses and their contact details is Local Finder, and the best way to assess a website is the SEO Tool.
- To verify an important statement, ask Chagible to include the link to its source.
Name the subject, the time frame, and the purpose, for example “current advertising costs for a local restaurant on Instagram this month, to plan a monthly budget.” A precise question returns a precise answer and reduces the number of follow-up requests.
