Request Refusal
Why Chagible may decline or redirect a request, and how to proceed.
Introduction
Chagible is designed to help with a wide range of marketing and business work, and it completes most requests directly. Occasionally, though, it declines a request, redirects it, or asks for clarification first. This page explains the usual reasons and how to move forward.
Reasons
A request is usually declined, redirected, or paused for one of the following reasons:
- Terms of Use conflict. Chagible cannot fulfill anything that the Terms of Use do not permit, however it is worded.
- Unclear or incomplete instructions. A very short or ambiguous message, a missing website or domain, or an instruction that could mean two different things may lead Chagible to ask a question first or to wait for the missing detail.
- Outside the current mode. Inside Focus Sheet, the chat is used only to edit the spreadsheet, so image creation, file uploads, searches, SEO reports, and speed tests require exiting Focus Sheet first.
- Not something Chagible does. For example, Chagible cannot edit a PowerPoint file that you upload, although it can rebuild its content as new slides. It cannot generate a new Word or PDF file, although it provides the finished text. It also cannot change the Business Profile on your behalf and directs you to that page instead.
- A limit has been reached. A message can carry up to 3 files in the supported formats, a single request can produce up to 15 slides and up to 3 images, and your plan determines which capabilities, such as Voice Mode, are available. See File Uploads and Plans and Credits.
In most cases, rephrasing the request with a clear goal and the details Chagible needs resolves the situation.
Check the Terms of Use
If a request is declined and the reason is not clear, review the Terms of Use. They set out the content and activities that Chagible cannot support, and they apply to everyone who uses Chagible. If the request is permitted, rephrase it with a clear purpose and send it again. If Chagible declines a request that you believe is permitted, contact the Support Team through Get Help in User Account and include the request. AI can occasionally misjudge a request, and your examples help us improve.
State the purpose, the audience, and the outcome you need, and include details such as the website, the business type, or the language. Clear and complete requests are fulfilled sooner. If a request conflicts with the Terms of Use, a different wording will not make it possible, but Chagible can still help with a related goal that the Terms of Use allow.
