Task Tabs
Organize work into separate conversations that you can pin, rename, move, and export.
Introduction
A Task Tab is a single conversation with Chagible. You can use as many Task Tabs as you like, and each keeps its own history, so work for one client or project stays separate from another. Task Tabs are listed in the sidebar and are available on every device you use to sign in.
How to use it
Start a new Task Tab
- Select New Task Tab at the top of the sidebar.
- Enter your first message. Chagible gives the Task Tab a title based on its content.
The button is disabled while an empty Task Tab exists. Use the empty Task Tab first, and the button becomes available again.
Switch between Task Tabs
Select a Task Tab in the sidebar to open it. The Pinned section lists pinned Task Tabs, and Recent lists the others, with the most recent work first. On a phone, the sidebar slides in from the left, and the button at its edge opens and closes it.
Use the three-dot menu
Select the three dots beside a Task Tab to open its menu:
- Pin keeps the Task Tab in the Pinned list. You can pin up to 10 Task Tabs, after which the menu displays “Pin limit reached.” Unpin removes the pin.
- Rename turns the title into a text box (up to 60 characters). Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel.
- Move places the Task Tab in a folder. It becomes available once the Task Tab contains at least one message. See Folders.
- Export downloads the conversation as a file. See Export.
- Delete permanently removes the Task Tab after you confirm. See Delete Data.
Good to know
- Voice Mode belongs to the Task Tab in which you started it. Opening another Task Tab or starting a new one ends the voice session.
- If a response is still being written when you switch to another Task Tab, it continues and is saved in the original Task Tab.
- Changes such as a new Task Tab, a rename, or a pin appear on your other devices shortly afterward.
- Each Task Tab keeps its own conversation, so keep each project in its own Task Tab. Your Business Profile applies to all of them.
Rename a Task Tab as soon as it becomes part of an ongoing project, for example “Spring promotion: email series.” Clear titles make Search and folders considerably more effective.
