Image Search finds existing photographs on the web and displays them in the chat. It is designed for subjects that already have a real appearance, such as a landmark, a product, a brand, a person, or a location, where the goal is to see what the subject actually looks like. It differs from Image Generation, which creates a new, original image from a description.
Image Search needs no button or setting. Ask for a photograph in plain language, and Chagible searches and presents the result. It is available on every plan.
Image Search or Image Generation
- Image Search fits when the subject is real and identifiable: “Show me a photograph of the Eiffel Tower at night.”
- Image Generation fits when the subject is invented, generic, or creative: “Create an illustration of a friendly robot holding a shopping bag.”
If a request could mean either, for example “an image of a coffee shop,” Chagible may ask one short question before it proceeds. Saying “find a photograph of” or “create an illustration of” avoids the question.
How to use it
- Describe the subject you want to see and say that you want an existing photograph, for example “Find a photograph of the Sydney Opera House.”
- Send the message. Chagible searches and responds in the chat.
- Look beneath the text for the photographs. They appear beneath the complete text of the response and not within it.
- Refine the request in the same Task Tab, for example “Show one taken at sunrise” or “Find a wider view.”
How the results appear
- Photographs are displayed inline in the chat, sized to fit the width of the conversation.
- They are shown for reference. Unlike images created by Chagible, they do not open in an enlarged view and have no download button.
- An image that cannot be loaded is omitted without leaving a gap or an error icon, so the text of the response stays complete.
- In an exported Task Tab, each search image is replaced by a short placeholder line, [Image Search Result]. See Export.
Sample prompts
- “Find a photograph of the Golden Gate Bridge in fog.”
- “Show me what the packaging of a leading oat milk brand looks like.”
- “Find a photograph of the Colosseum in Rome.”
- “Show me a photograph of the Burj Khalifa.”
Good to know
- Photographs belong to their owners. Before you use a photograph in a campaign, a website, or any published material, confirm that you hold the right to do so. To get an original image without that concern, use Image Generation.
- Image Search is not available inside Focus Sheet. Exit Focus Sheet first.
- Results come from the public web, so the images available for a subject can vary. If the results are not suitable, make the subject more specific or add a descriptive detail.
- Like every request, a search uses credits from your daily allowance. See Plans and Credits.
- For videos, use Video Search. For research and links, use Web Search.
Include the subject, the setting, and the angle, for example “the Colosseum in Rome, exterior, daytime.” A specific description makes it more likely that the first attempt returns the photograph you intended.
