Introduction

Local Finder is a workspace for identifying real businesses and listing them in a table, which makes it well suited to B2B lead prospecting. On one side is a chat in which you state the type of business and the location. On the other side is a table that fills with the businesses Chagible finds and their publicly available details.

Local Finder opens inside the workspace and is separate from the standard chat. Nothing you enter there is saved into a Task Tab.

How to use it

  1. Select Local Finder in the sidebar, below Business Profile.
  2. In the chat, state the type of business and the country. A city is optional. You can also select a starter chip, such as Marketing agencies, IT companies, Retail enterprises, Construction businesses, Real estate brokers, or Law offices. If you leave out the country, Chagible asks for it.
  3. Send the message and watch the table fill while the search runs. Select Stop to end the search early. Businesses that were already found are kept.
  4. When the search finishes, review the results. To find more, submit the request again. Each new search adds businesses that have not appeared before.
  5. Select Download XLSX to save all results as an Excel workbook, with one sheet per results tab.

On a phone, the table appears above the chat.

What the table shows

  • Business Name, Address, Phone, Email, and Website are listed for each business where the information is publicly available. Addresses end with the country, and phone numbers begin with the country code.
  • Key Person is the owner or a leader who can speak for the business. It shows “Not Found” when this information is not published.

Business information is limited to what is publicly available, because only public data can be delivered. A detail that a business has not published cannot be provided, which is why Key Person may show “Not Found.”

Each search aims for 10 businesses. Every search adds a new tab (Results1, Results2, and so on), and a business that appeared in an earlier tab is not shown again. Fewer than 10 businesses may be returned when no further matching businesses could be found.

Sample prompts

  • “Give me a list of IT companies in Singapore.”
  • “List some construction companies in Sydney, Australia.”
  • “Help me find law firms in Melbourne, Australia.”
  • “Find marketing agencies in San Francisco, USA.”
  • “I need logistics companies in Manchester, UK.”

Working with the results

  • The table is read-only, but you can copy a cell by right-clicking it and selecting Copy.
  • Delete All Data (the bin button) removes the entire list after you confirm. It cannot be recovered.
  • Deleting all conversations from User Account also clears Local Finder.

Good to know

  • This chat is intended only for finding businesses. For anything else, such as drafting outreach messages, use the standard chat. The two work well together: identify leads here and write the proposal there.
  • Not every country is covered.
  • Only publicly available business information can be delivered, so the details in the table are limited to what each business has published and may be incomplete or out of date. Check them before you contact a business.
  • You are responsible for how you use the business details you collect. Follow the marketing and privacy laws that apply where you and your contacts are located, and the Terms of Use.
  • A search uses more credits than a standard message. The Basic plan includes limited access, and Pro and Ultra include more Local Finder credits.
  • Searches run on one device also appear on your other devices.

A more specific business type produces a better list. “Boutique accounting firms in Toronto” returns more focused leads than “companies in Canada.”
